After school today I gave the kids a list of chores to do before they could play. Elly, Camryn and Lucy really needed to clean their room. They were in their room for a long time (they like to play instead of clean). I started a timer saying that if they didn't get it done they would get spanks. Not too long after Elly started to scream (not the first time I've heard a scream like that). My first thought was someone is bothering Elly. I went in the room to help her out and found her skaking and blood every where. Their room was so clean. They were going the extra mile and cleaning under their beds. She had cut her face on a broken lamp (another story). It was terrible. We quickly put toilet paper on her face and I left Koby at home in charge of the kids while I ran Elly to the hospital. We went to the quick care but they felt is was a better idea to take her to the hospital for a surgen to stich it up. Ryan's office is close to the hospital. It was nice to have him there with us. Elly was really brave. She receieved 4 stiches.
